April 2018 NRCS-Conservation District Open Houses

Upcoming Open Houses - April 9 and 17 - Come Learn About Generous Financial and Technical Assistance Available to Farmers and Forest Land Owners!

The RI Conservation Districts and USDA NRCS invite you to join us to learn about voluntary conservation programs for farm and forest land owners and managers! Funding and technical assistance are available for conservation practices such as:

· Forest management plans

· Forest trails and landings

· Seasonal high tunnels

· Nutrient management plans

· And more!

Information will also be provided about RI Conservation District’s other programs and projects in Providence, Kent, and Washington counties as well as the Farm, Forest, and Open Space tax program.
