Winter Workshops for Farm and Forest Land Owners
From RI’s Conservation Districts and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service
USDA NRCS and Rhode Island’s Conservation Districts provide financial and technical assistance to land owners and managers who would like to maximize their land’s crop productivity, forest health, wildlife value, soil quality, and more! Join us to learn more about applying for assistance and how you can do more with your land. Already managing your land? Join us to hear about the revamped Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) which offers minimum yearly payments of $1500 to qualifying land managers who exhibit high levels of stewardship of their land’s resources! The deadline to apply for 2017 funding is February 3, so join us at a workshop or contact your local conservation district to learn more today!
