NRCS Invites Public to Participate in Pennsylvania State Technical Committee Meeting October 21, 2021

The U.S.D.A. Natural Resources conservation Service (NRCS) invites the public to participate in the Pennsylvania State Technical Committee meeting on October 21, 2021. The meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams video conferencing.

Quarterly State Technical Committee Meetings are held to discuss natural resources conservation in Pennsylvania and provide recommendations to NRCS on the implementation of Farm Bill programs.

Along with Farm Bill Program updates, October’s meeting will feature the following presentations:

  • “Women Landowners for Conservation and Water Quality in Pennsylvania” by Jamie Mierau, Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, American Farmland Trust
  • “Legacy Sediment 2.0 Decision Support Tool” by Joe Sweeny, Executive Director of the Water Science Institute
