Interactive Map - Nevada Conditions Links

The Interactive Map “Conditions” interface displays current and historical conditions for snow water equivalent, snow depth, snow density, precipitation, reservoir storage, streamflow volumes, and forecasted streamflow volumes collected by the Natural Resources Conservation Service and other monitoring agencies.

The Interactive Map has many custom data analysis capabilities using different duration periods. The data in the map can be exported as a .csv file to a spreadsheet using the option in the left sidebar menu. For more information about how to use the tool go to the Interactive Map Help Center or contact Jeff Anderson with the Nevada Snow Survey.

Use the “Give us feedback” button in the top right of the Interactive Map if you have comments or suggestions for the developers.

Valley Precipitation (Based on most recent monthly data at ACIS - NWS Co-op Stations)

Reservoir Storage (Based on most recent monthly data)

Streamflow Volume (Based on most recent monthly data, expressed as an adjusted volume)

Seasonal Streamflow Volume Statistics

Seasonal Streamflow Forecasts  (Last publication month - 50% Exceedance Forecast)

Streamflow Forecast Verification (Compare forecast to observed flow - only works for historic years)
