Chrishelle Jackson - Quarterly Review of Open Obligations Tool (ROOT)

Albuquerque, N.M. –Chrishelle provided assistance researching the travel obligations that were selected for the quarterly Review of Open Obligations Tool (ROOT). She took the initiative to learn the process and related specific FMMI codes and developed a spreadsheet for each obligation indicating the history of the obligation and needed steps to address.

This effort exceeded normal expectations as Chrishelle is not on the Management & Strategy team and does not work on ROOT audits as part of her regular duties.  As a result of Chrishelle's efforts, NM was able to identify over $7,127 of funding from completed travel authorizations for deobligation and complete the ROOT audit within the established timeframe.

Chrishelle Jackson has received the award for her achievement and recognition.
