Kelly Ramsey, Hydrologist

Ms. Kelly Ramsey, P.E. is the Water Quality and Quantity Team Hydrologist, located in Beltsville, MD. Kelly has 22 years of experience in watershed management, BMP analysis and design for water quality improvement, flood control, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, stream stabilization and restoration, and wetland restoration and enhancement.

Kelly served as the Virginia NRCS State Hydraulic Engineer for a total of 13 years, where she worked on watershed planning, dam rehabilitation, and supporting conservation engineering design and implementation.  Kelly has delivered national engineering training in hydrology, hydraulics, stream restoration, and wetland restoration. She worked as a Water Resources Engineer with private consulting firms and state water quality agencies for 8 years, where she worked on stormwater management, stream restoration and water quality improvement plans to meet Total Maximum Daily Loads in Chesapeake Bay.  Kelly received a B.S. degree in Biological Systems Engineering from VA Tech, Blacksburg, VA in 1998.
