Soil and Water Resources Conservation Act (RCA)The Soil and Water Resources Conservation Act (RCA) provides broad natural resource strategic assessment and planning authority for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The purpose of the RCA is to ensure that USDA programs for the conservation of soil, water, and related resources are responsive to the long-term needs of the Nation.

Following is a set of Conservation Practice Summaries using the National Planning and Agreements Database (NPAD). The data in these summaries are the basis for the higher level reports presented in the RCA Data Viewer.

State and regional conservation program reports can be found through the Interactive Data View or the Text Only View.
