About Edge-of-Field Monitoring In Kentucky
NRCS provides technical and financial assistance to farmers in target watersheds who are interested in voluntarily installing monitoring stations. NRCS first introduced edge-of-field monitoring as an opportunity through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) in 2013.
Fiscal Year 2019 Edge-of-Field Opportunities In Kentucky
In fiscal year 2018 Kentucky has chosen to offer Edge-of-Field Monitoring opportunities State-wide.
Kentucky NRCS is working in partnership with the University of Kentucky (UK). UK will provide professional monitoring of the Edge-of-Field stations installed throughout the State over a five-year period.
FY 2019 Edge-of-Field Monitoring Application Deadline
NRCS accepts program applications on a continuing basis. However, when funding is available, NRCS sets signup cutoff dates to rank eligible applicants.
The next signup cutoff deadline for Edge-of-Field Monitoring applicants is July 19, 2019.
