Knox County RCPP Project

Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts logoIntroduction

In Fiscal Year (FY) 2018, a Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) project entitled “Knox County RCPP” was submitted by the Knox County Conservation District.  The 5-year project was approved in FY 2018 and will utilize financial assistance in FY 2019-2022 through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).  The project will focus on addressing resource concerns caused by overgrazing of livestock operations.  The eligible practices will provide a better source of forage and improve rotational grazing systems to provide longer rest periods for pastures.
