Lake Cumberland Regional Conservation Partnership (RCPP)

Introduction

In Fiscal Year (FY) 2017, a Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) project entitled “Lake Cumberland RCPP” was submitted by the Wayne County Conservation District.  The 5-year project was approved in FY 2017, and will utilize financial assistance in FY 2018-2020 through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).  The project will focus on improving water quality within the Lake Cumberland Watershed by promoting a diverse suite of Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts logoconservation practices that address resource concerns associated with grazing and cropping operations.

Kentucky will receive $220,000 to install conservation practices in Wayne County, Kentucky through this RCPP-EQIP agreement.

How to Apply and Application Cut-Off Dates

The Lake Cumberland Regional Conservation Partnership has obligated the $220,000 of financial assistance included in the RCPP agreement to eligible EQIP applicants in Wayne County.  At this time, no additional application batching cut-off dates are planned.
