Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) - State Component

Idaho NRCS Offering $150,000 for Conservation Innovation Grants in FY 2021.

The FY 2021 Idaho Conservation Innovation Grants application period is as follows:

Funds will be awarded through a statewide competitive process. This includes submitting a full proposal application.  Proposals must be received at the grants.gov website by May 3, 2021 by 5 PM Mountain time.  The proposals HAVE to be submitted through the Grants.gov website.  A copy can also be sent to Denise.Adkins@usda.gov by 5 p.m. Mountain Time on May 3, 2021

Selected projects may lead to the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies.

This year, applications for all resource concerns will be considered by Idaho. These include Rangeland, Wildlife, Soil Health and any other categories that relate to NRCS conservation priorities.  No special consideration for funding will be given to applications that relate to any designated priorities. The most that can be applied for is $75,000.00 and the least that can be applied for is $25,000.00.

FY 2021 REQUIRED Documents for Idaho Grant Proposals are all outlined in the RFP found in the above link.  Any grant that is submitted without ALL of the required additional documentation will not be considered for funding.
