West Georgia Beef Management Tour

Bus leaves the Ag Center, 900 Newnan Road, Carrollton at 6 a.m. sharp and arrival back to Ag Center around 7 p.m.

Callaway Cattle Company, Hogansville, GA

Registered SimAngus and Angus cattle farm that produces replacement females, commercial bulls and show steers and heifers for junior projects. Callaway Cattle Company strives to produce highly fertile, structurally sound, functional cattle with performance, longevity, eye appeal and balanced EPD’s.

White Oak Pastures, Bluffton, GA

White Oak Pastures is radically traditional farming. Every day, they butcher meat from animals they raise in a regenerative manner using humane animal management practices. White Oak Pastures produces cattle, along with other livestock and have a certified organic vegetable garden. While at White Oak Pastures we will tour their processing facility and have lunch at their dining pavilion.

Oakhurst Farm, West Point, GA

Oakhurst Farm is a Red Angus cattle farm that offers grass fed/grain finished beef for sale. In addition to cattle, Oakhurst Farm offers a 4-acre corn maze, pumpkin picking, hayrides, educational tours and more.

Oliver Angus, West Point, GA

A small but proud breeder of registered Angus cattle, Oliver Angus was established in 1968. Their mission is to amplify the good traits that come naturally to Angus cattle. Traits that include; carcass quality, fertility, maternal instincts, structural soundness, and docility. Their genetics derive from Angus cattle imported in the 50’s and 60’s from Great Britain, through the Wye Angus herd in Queenstown, Maryland and since 1986 they have sustained their genetics.

Cost: $50 per person. Includes bus, tour and lunch.
