Media Advisory: USDA in Oregon and California to Hold Media Call on New Partnerships to Benefit Western Waters of the United States

Portland, Ore., May 3, 2021 – On Tuesday, May 4, USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Oregon and California will hold a media call to discuss its investment in new partnership projects with Deschutes River Conservancy and Ducks Unlimited, Inc. to benefit western waters of the United States. These partnerships are part of a national investment of $330 million in 85 locally driven, public-private partnerships to address climate change, improve the nation’s water quality, combat drought, enhance soil health, support wildlife habitat and protect agricultural viability through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).
