Tygarts Valley Conservation District to Host Local Work Group Meeting

The Tygarts Valley Conservation District (TVCD), serving Barbour, Randolph, Taylor, Tucker, and Upshur Counties, will host a Local Work Group (LWG) meeting on April 9 at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will be held at:

Belington Fire Hall
301 Watkins St.
Belington, WV 26250

The purpose of the Local Work Group meeting is to gather input from landowners, agricultural producers, partner organizations, and community members to help identify natural resource concerns and guide conservation priorities within the district. Local feedback plays a key role in shaping USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) programs and technical assistance for the coming year.

Residents from all five counties served by TVCD are encouraged to attend and participate.
