Notice of Prescribed Burns in Klamath County, Oregon

USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in partnership with EcoStudies Institute will perform a prescribed burn on a site enrolled in the Wetlands Reserve Program in Klamath County, Oregon.

The exact date and time of the burn(s) will depend on weather conditions, but the burn(s) will take place sometime between: Sept. 15 - Dec. 31, 2024

Easement Site
Burn Area: 404 acres
Location: Approximately 1/2 mile north and south of Sevenmile Rd. and 5 miles west of Fort Klamath, OR.

Private lands and public forest are adjacent to the burn area.
