Application Questions
NRCS uses prioritization questions to evaluate applications for this initiative. See the list of workload prioritization questions on the Oregon EQIP page. Ranking questions below will also apply.
Ranking Questions
- Will the planned practices improve meadow hydrologic function or water table connection to riparian vegetation?
- Are current livestock management methods appropriate for the site (i.e. existing management is not contributing identified resource concerns)?
- Does the Conservation Plan include restorative practices such as Range Planting (550) or Restoration of Rare or Declining Natural Communities (643)?
- Does the Conservation Plan include practices to facilitate improved livestock management (Fence (382), Watering Facility (642), Spring Development (574), Prescribed Grazing (528))?
- Will the planned practices improve Plant Composition and Structure?
- Will the planned practices improve habitat for upland wildlife?
