USDA NRCS, FSA Announce Florida Office Closures Ahead of Hurricane Milton

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Farm Service Agency (FSA) announced the following Florida offices will close today by 2 p.m., in anticipation of approaching Hurricane Milton which is predicted to reach Florida by Wednesday evening.
OFFICE CLOSURE UPDATE: October 11, 2024
The following NRCS Florida offices are closed due to the effects of Hurricane Milton: Bartow, Brooksville, Cocoa, Deland, East Palatka, Fort Myers, Fort Pierce, Kissimmee, LaBelle, Madison, Palmetto Area Office, Plant City, Sarasota, Sebring, Tavares, and Wauchula. Please call before visiting your USDA local service center, to ensure it is open.

The following NRCS Florida offices were closed as a result of Hurricane Milton: Bartow, Brooksville, Cocoa, Deland, East Palatka, Fort Myers, Fort Pierce, Kissimmee, LaBelle, Madison, Okeechobee, Palmetto Area Office, Plant City, Royal Palm Beach, Sarasota, Sebring, Tavares, and Wauchula.

USDA Service Centers will tentatively reopen by noon Thursday, as local conditions allow. Office closures may be added or changed based on the changing trajectory of the storm and local emergency mandates. After the storm, please call ahead before visiting a local office to ensure it is open.
