NRCS announces a December 15, 2023, ranking cut-off date for farmers and forest landowners to apply for the first period of FY 2024 conservation program funding through EQIP-IRA, CSP-IRA, AMA, CSP, EQIP and ACEP.
IRA funding will provide an additional $189 million nationwide to the NRCS Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP).
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Idaho is accepting applications from agricultural producers and private forest landowners in Idaho for ACEP, which helps producers enroll wetlands, grasslands and farmlands into conservation easements.
The USDA has funding available to farmland preservation organizations through its Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP). Michigan entities have until Nov. 13, to submit applications for the first round of FY2024 funding. ACEP provides matching funds for conservation easements.
Apply now for funding through the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program – Agricultural Land Easement (ALE) and Wetland Reserve Easements (WRE) programs! Applications received after November 29, will be batched with applications received by the February 9, 2024, deadline.
