Signup Deadline Announced for Alabama’s Financial Assistance Programs

AUBURN, ALABAMA, September 30, 2024– Alabama State Conservationist, Ben Malone, with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) announces that the initial Fiscal Year 2025 Financial Assistance Programs signup deadline is November 1, 2024.

Signup Deadline Announced for Alabama’s Easement Programs

Alabama State Conservationist, Ben Malone, with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) announces that the Fiscal Year 2025 Farm Bill Easement signup deadline is October 4, 2024. A second sign-up deadline will be December 20, 2024 should any funds remain after the initial signup.

The easement includes 200.6 acres of former cropland that were restored to create wetland, prairie and forest habitat for wildlife.
