Hybrid sheep can survive solely on grass at the Tuckahoe Plantation, in the Richmond, VA area on Thursday, May 5, 2011. An electrified fence keep herd in the proper pastures where they graze on the grass and leave nutrient rich manure to revitalize the soil, enhancing regrowth. Join us for our Grazing Workshop, an educational event for local farmers. Topics will include reading your pastures, livestock grazing habitats, grazing the weeds, pasture management, programs & cost-share opportunities, and more. Registration and a light breakfast will be available starting at 8:30
