Join American Farmland Trust, Savanna Institute, and NRCS Wisconsin to explore in-field soil health assessments and what they tell us.

What is a slump test and what does it mean? What tools can show field compaction and infiltration concerns? Join American Farmland Trust, Savanna Institute, and NRCS to learn how to conduct an assortment of in-field soil health assessments, and how to interpret them with your farmers and landowners.

This event is part of the Wisconsin Farmland Protection Partnership, a project supported by USDA NRCS Regional Conservation Partnership Program, aimed to increase acreage of permanently protected farmland in Wisconsin and promote soil health practices on protected lands. Thanks to Ralph K. Morris Foundation for their support and sponsorship of this event. Lunch provided!
