No registration needed.
The Kahului Soil and Water Conservation District invites the public to participate in a Local Working Group Meeting Aug. 20, 5:30 p.m. at the Community Service Building, University of Hawaiʻi Maui College campus, 310 Kaahumanu Ave., Kahului, Hawaiʻi.
The Local Working Group is a locally led initiative supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in the Pacific Islands Area, and it serves an essential role in our communities. Participants provide recommendations on local and state natural resource priorities and conservation activities to help identify and prioritize conservation issues, promote sustainable practices and foster partnerships. Insights from farmers, ranchers, and partners are crucial to our efforts.
The event is free, and food and refreshments will be served. For any questions or further information, please contact Kelly Butler at Kelly.Butler@hi.nacdnet.net.
We look forward to your active participation and valuable contributions to this collaborative effort. Together, we can make a significant difference in the health and productivity of our local environment.
