Prescribed Fire Workshop for Landowners

This event is for landowners interested in prescribed fire as a management tool for prairies and forests.
Registration
Space is limited to a maximum of 50 participants. Lunch is included.
Participants will be allowed to check out a fire cache containing wildland firefighting equipment such as bladder bags, drip torches, Nomex suits and other fire specific tools, as well as meet a cooperative of partners for management help.
What to expect:
- Most sessions will be indoor, however some will be outdoor.
- Participants will receive a packet of materials including slide presentations to take home.
- Coffee, rolls and lunch will be provided.
- We will not be conducting a prescribed burn during this event.
- Time for site specific questions.

The Great Rivers Alliance of SE Iowa is a partnership of both public and private conservation agencies who work together to improve the ability of l people to care for the natural resources in Southeast Iowa. There will be a diversity of presenters at the workshop, each sharing their experiences and expertise.
