RSVP by emailing: alyssa.bright@njaudubon.org
The evening will begin with a tour of Hidden Creek Farm highlighting several conservation techniques employed on the farm including prescribed grazing, annual forages, and warm season cover crops. Learn how these practices and others fit into local programs offering cost share assistance and how your farm could be eligible.
A rainfall simulator demonstration will show infiltration and runoff variations between different soil management activities providing insight to additional management considerations that are eligible for programs.
Refreshments will be available during conversations featuring soil health practices led by the hosting organizations. Join us to learn how you too can implement these practices on your own land with funding and technical assistance provided by these organizations.
We hope to see you there! For more information or to RSVP, please contact Alyssa Bright at alyssa.bright@njaudubon.org or at 609-400-3857.
