You are invited to attend a Public Meeting where information for the Cottonwood Creek Flood Prevention Project will be provided and comments solicited on the Draft Plan-EA. Interested parties may voice their comments, ideas, and concerns to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the project sponsors during this meeting as well as submit formal written comments.

NRCS will be working with the City of Cottonwood, the Cottonwood Highway District, and the Idaho Transportation Department as co-sponsors and the Idaho County Soil and Water Conservation District as a cooperating agency for the Cottonwood Creek Flood Prevention Project in Idaho County, Idaho. The project proposes to use federal funds to replace and relocate flood conveyance conduits and structures, install culverts and conveyance structures to convey floodwaters, and install creek channel enhancements to prevent flooding and reduce flood damage in the City of Cottonwood.
