The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Texas will hold a meeting of the State Technical Committee on Sept. 26, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn Temple, 1749 Scott Blvd., Temple, Texas.

Temple, Texas, Sept. 11, 2023 — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Texas will hold a meeting of the State Technical Committee on Sept. 26, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn Temple, 1749 Scott Blvd., Temple, Texas.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

2. Agency Updates

3. Farm Bill and Inflation Reduction Act Program Summary

4. Subcommittee Reports

5. Public Comment and Open Discussion

6. Closing Discussion/Adjourn

Through the meeting, NRCS seeks input from Texas citizens and representatives of organizations and agencies on natural resource priorities and concerns. This input helps guide the delivery of NRCS conservation programs and technical assistance within the state. NRCS and other USDA agencies will provide brief updates on Farm Bill programs and be available for participants to ask questions and offer suggestions.
