NRCS State Technical Committee to Meet May 22 in Fort Pierre

State Technical Committee Meeting

NRCS will hold its regularly scheduled session of the State Technical Committee at 10 a.m. CDT on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Fort Pierre, SD

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) serving South Dakota (SD) will hold its regularly scheduled session of the State Technical Committee (STC) in person at 10 a.m. CDT on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites Conference Center at 312 Island Drive, Fort Pierre, SD 57532. The meeting is anticipated to run for one and a half to two hours.

Featured this session will be partnership updates on the tentative agenda that includes: Congressional Staff Updates, Farm Bill Program Updates for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), Easements, the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) of the Farm Service Agency, FY24 Conservation Collaboration Cooperative Agreement Notice of Funding Update, Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Update, Technical and Conservation Practices Updates, South Dakota Wetland/Highly Erodible Land Compliance Updates, and other Partnership Topics.
