Primary Resource Concern Addressed: Fire management - Wildfire hazard from biomass accumulation

Project Description
The goal of this implementation strategy is to support a collaborative effort between NRCS, forestry partners, communities, and individual landowners to reduce the risk of large scale, severe wildfire in tactical locations in ways that are compatible with and support healthy forest ecosystems. This strategy aims to treat non-industrial private forestlands in high priority areas such as along main travel routes, ridges and rivers, that form continuity with other previous or planned treatments in a cross-boundary fashion.
