Hurricane Sandy MLK Volunteer Effort

 

As part of the MLK Jr. National Day of Service, NRCS volunteers assisted local business owners in clearing and disposing of hazardous debris deposited by Hurricane Sandy.  

New England cottontail rabbit

Working Lands for Wildlife partnership which allows farmers and forest landowners to use innovative approaches to restore and protect habitats for at-risk species such as the New England cottontail rabbit. 

High Tunnel Initiative

NRCS has established High Tunnel Initiative. Agricultural producers can apply to receive financial and technical assistance under the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
