Since the 2008 Farm Bill, Pennsylvania NRCS has allocated more than $268 million and installed water quality conservation practices to assist the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania meet its Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) goals in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
From 2011-2015, NRCS helped PA producers & landowners apply more than 95,000 conservation practices that will benefit future generations with healthy soils, clean water and air, conserved energy, an abundant water supply, and healthy plant and animal communities.
