Kevin Norton, State Conservationist in Louisiana for USDA NRCS announced today the availability of $15 million in financial and technical assistance to help eligible conservation partners voluntarily protect, restore and enhance critical wetlands on private and tribal lands.

The Louisiana CIG was published on Grants.gov on March 30, 2016 and will remain open until June 3, 2016. Up to $75,000 per proposal is available for innovative conservation techniques.
