The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s NRCS new Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) provides a way for partners to collaborate and invest in cleaner water and air, healthier soil, and enhanced wildlife habitat
In the US, over 80% of the population lives in cities or suburbs. While the downtown areas of cities are covered with asphalt and concrete, there are still lawns, trees, gardens and parks. Under all of this “city space”, even under the concrete, is soil.
Many fields have a trouble spot, but for one Kansas landowner—it was an entire field. See how ACEP helped restore this field to its historical condition.
NRCS announced that $3.8 million in conservation funding has been allocated in Kansas to help landowners protect and restore key farmlands, grasslands, and wetlands.
