Farmers and landowners in several counties in Arkansas have until Dec. 18, 2015, to submit applications to receive financial assistance to implement conservation practices through three Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) projects.
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recently announced that USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will invest $30 million this year in 33 new projects and 40 existing projects to improve water quality in high priority watersheds the Mississippi River Basin.
