World Water Monitoring Day

The Earth Team participates every year in an international project called World Water Monitoring Day (WWMD). Earth Team volunteers in Arizona monitor waters across the state, gathering data on temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity.

Water monitoring occurs Sept. 18-Oct. 18, with the WWMD celebration on Oct. 18. Earth Team members will receive a free water monitoring kit and information on how to play a part in World Water Monitoring Day.
