Programs & Deadlines

ACEP, AMA, CSP, and EQIP offer a continuous signup opportunity. Applications are reviewed as funds are available, and financial assistance offered to the highest ranking applicants. People interested in conservation program funding assistance should not wait until a formally announced ranking period to apply.

The following dates reflect times when NRCS will review and rank all applications received for the specific listed option. Potential applicants interested in these options are encouraged to have an updated application filed with their local NRCS office by the listed date.



Due Date

Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP)

Applications are now being accepted on a continuous basis for the WRE and ALE components.


Agricultural Management Assistance (AMA)

Apply for first round funding consideration for irrigation projects by Oct. 17, 2014.

Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP)

Apply for first round funding consideration by Oct. 17, 2014.

Healthy Forest Reserve Program (HFRP)    

 * Pending availability of funds.

Pennsylvania NRCS will offer a state Conservation Innovation Grant (CIG) option. Application due dates and program priorities are to be determined for FY 2015.

The following dates have been established for periodic application review periods for AMA and EQIP. Applications submitted by these dates will be evaluated in that signup cycle, as long as funds are available. 
Dates are:

                      October 17, 2014 - First cycle
                      December 19, 2014 - Second cycle
                      February 20, 2015 - Third cycle (if needed)
                      April 17, 2015 - Fourth cycle (if needed)
                      May 15, 2015 - Fifth cycle (if needed)
