This technical release presents a method for determining the storage of water for use at a later date. The storage is determined on a monthly basis knowing inflow, demands, losses. The theory of how is the storage is determined is described in TR-19. The user Manual describes the computer program (RESOP) based on the information in TR-19.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service used government funds to develop the Technical Release 19 and the TR-19 computer program. It may be downloaded for use and copying at no additional expense or license requirements.
