SITES Version 2005.1.12

SITES is a rainfall-runoff model for hydraulically proportioning the principal spillway and auxiliary spillway of a dam.

SITES is a rainfall-runoff model for hydraulically proportioning the principal spillway and auxiliary spillway of a dam. NRCS uses SITES for designing most TR-60 dams and some 378 – Ponds as well. Some state dam safety regulations recommend SITES for the design of small dams.
(WinDAM software uses the same spillway erosion algorithms as SITES.  Therefore WinDAM can also demonstrate integrity of earthen/vegetated auxiliary spillways.)

SITES Version 2005.1.12 corrects the time to peak display error in SITES version 2005.1.11.  The hydraulic routing computations and elevations are correct in 2005.1.11, but the hydrograph time to peak in 20005.1.11 does not display correctly.

Note: If SITES Version 2005.1.5 is installed, it must be uninstalled. Version 2005.1.5 should not be used, due to errors in routing of long duration drawdowns.

SITES example files can also be downloaded.
