HecDSSVue - data display
The DSS file “split.dss” contains only the input for an unsteady HecRAS analysis. Below is a screenshot of the main HecDSSVue menu, with the first record (with Part C as “FLOW”) representing the upstream boundary, a storm hydrograph. The second record (with Part C as “STAGE” represents the downstream boundary, a tidal elevation hydrograph.
While running HecDSSVue on your own machine, you can try the following procedures. To display the flood hydrograph, left-click on record 1 to select it. Then right-click on record one and choose “Plot”. A screenshot of the flood hydrograph is shown below. To display the tidal hydrograph, do the same procedure with record 2. A screenshot of that plot is also shown below.
