Aughwick Creek Streambank Stabilization and Fencing to Reduce the Effects of Erosion and Nutrient Loading
Western Pennsylvania Conservancy will address sedimentation issues that are the result of streambank erosion, as well as, agricultural influences within the Aughwick Creek. Projects to be completed in Aughwick Creek will be collaborative efforts to address the creation of riparian buffers, eliminate streambank erosion, reduce in-stream sedimentation and nutrient loading, and construct in-stream habitat structures.
