First Joint Employee Training Conference Takes Place in Kansas City

Story by Floyd Nauls, Jr.

The first joint training conference for three NRCS employee organizations was held in Kansas City, Missouri, March 15 through 19, 2010. This was a joint effort which included the Asian Pacific Islander Organization, the National Organization of Professional Black NRCS Employees, and the National Organization of Professional Hispanic NRCS Employees, along with all of the special emphasis program managers. This conference provided training and networking among all the groups present. We all came together to discuss concerns and ideas to make this agency a better place for all who need our assistance.
