2012 North Central Regional Cooperative Soil Survey Conference

Nebraska is proud to host the 2012 North Central Regional Cooperative Soil Survey Conference. The NCSS Conference will run from 1 p.m., Monday, June 4 through noon, Thursday, June 7. The conference will be held at Hardin Hall, on the University East Campus. There are a variety of accommodations, dining, and activity options in downtown Lincoln and vicinity. Technical sessions and committee discussions will focus on challenging soil survey related issues including Ecological Site Inventory and Description, soil survey in urban and highly disturbed areas, and dynamic soil properties. A highlight of the conference will be a field tour on Wednesday, June 6. The field tour will focus on the Upland and Flood Plain Landscapes of Southeastern Nebraska.

PRESENTATIONS AND POSTERS

The Conference Steering Committee is seeking posters. Posters can be displayed the first day of the meeting and remain on view for the duration. Presenters will be invited to discuss their posters during break periods.
