2010 Northeast Regional Cooperative Soil Survey Conference

Pennsylvania is proud to host the 2010 Northeast Cooperative Soil Survey Conference. The cost of the conference will be kept as low as possible by hosting it at Elizabethtown College. Low cost dorm rooms or higher cost lodging in nearby hotels or B&B’s will be available. A technical tour will explore various watershed, environmental, social and pedological issues within Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, which is one of the most intensively farmed regions in the country. Technical sessions and committees will feature timely soil, watershed, and land use topics.
