The South Carolina Outreach Council

The South Carolina State Outreach Council

The South Carolina State Outreach Council, chaired by NRCS State Conservationist Ann English, was formed to gather information about the program and outreach needs of different customer groups, especially under-served groups including women, minorities, and limited resource clients.  The Council works to provide coordinated outreach efforts to all USDA customers in South Carolina, especially those that have historically been under served within the State.

Vision Statement:
All customers (especially those that have historically been under served within the State) are served in a manner that facilitates their understanding of USDA programs and enables them to benefit, as appropriate, from such programs.

Mission Statement:
To develop and coordinate the outreach efforts to historically under served customers of USDA programs within South Carolina.
