Mayagüez Field Office Celebrates National Volunteer Week

State Office & Mayaguez Field Office staff recognize volunteers.In celebration of National Volunteer Week, the NRCS Mayagüez Field Office held a luncheon on April 9th to recognize eight Earth Team volunteers who contributed over 180 hours of their time to help put conservation on the ground. Assistant State Conservationist for Operations (ASTC), Fernando Arroyo, presented four of the volunteers (the others were in class) with certificates of accomplishment. Field office staff also expressed their gratitude to the volunteers and all enjoyed a lunch of pizza and cake!
