Computer access for NRCS Employees and District Employees within the PACIFIC ISLANDS AREA
To add, delete, or modify computer access, a System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) must be submitted by the Information System Security Point of Contact (ISSPOC). To request a SAAR, complete an appropriate NRCS-IRM-003 and have it digitally signed by your supervisor. Return the IRM-003 to your Accountability Information Management System (AIMS) Specialist.
The IRM-003 must be kept in fillable form. Please type directly into the form and electronically sign, then forward to the AIMS Specialist. Do NOT print and scan the form.
A SAAR IS needed for:
Requesting new computer and e-mail access
Deleting an account when a user leaves
Disabling an account (i.e. when a student returns to school and is placed on LWOP)
Changing an account
Shared Drive Permissions
Adding or deleting VPN Accounts
Adding or removing Toolkit Permissions
Transfer a user to another field office, another state
Other elevated requests
A SAAR is NOT used for:
Problems with your computer or connectivity issues
To request software installation
Being unable to login because of a forgotten password
Other issues with your workstation
For these types of issues you will need to submit a Self Service Request
*ProTracts permissions are authorized through an AD-1143. An IRM-003 is not used for adding or removing ProTracts permission.
