Agronomically Speaking: What's New, Topical and Relevant?
New! The new Wind Erosion Prediction System (WEPS) has replaced the Wind Erosion Equation (WEQ) as the current wind erosion prediction tool in Oregon. The new WEPS program has been “pushed out” to most NRCS computer users. It is located in Start-All Programs-USDA Applications-WEPS-WEPS Wind Erosion Prediction. If you do not see it, please contact Denise Troxell, Oregon Conservation Agronomist, to make arrangements for download. WEPS database files and training materials can be downloaded at: http://www.weru.ksu.edu/nrcs/wepsnrcs.html
