Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in New York State announces up to $200,000 in available funding for qualifying projects under the Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) Program. CIG, a component of the NRCS Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), provides eligible applicants with the opportunity to address some of the state’s most pressing natural resource conservation needs.
The Fiscal Year 2014 New York Conservation Innovation Grants State Component Request for Proposals (RFP) is announced and accepting applications. The pre-proposal phase must be received by NRCS before 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on May 30, 2014. NRCS will announce selected pre-proposal applications by June 27, 2014. Selected applicants will then be required to submit a full proposal package to NRCS by 4:00 p.m. EDT on July 31, 2014.
