Pollinator-Friendly Plants for the Northeast United States

Web image: A close-up photo of a bee collecting pollen from a flower

The Big Flats Plant Materials Center, in Corning, New York, had been working with over 50 pollinator-friendly plants. A plant characteristic guide as well as a photograph of each wildflower was put together, for the Northeast United States.

These plants are commercially available and are found throughout this region. The guide has such information as plant height, bloom time, habitat requirements, pollinator value, additional resources and seed and plant suppliers.

Please feel free to contact us at the Big Flats Plant Materials Center at 607-562-8404, or visit the Plant Materials Program Web site for additional information.
