Your First Month

This area of the NRCS New Jersey Human Resources Web site provides important information related to employment policies and standards of conduct that you will need to follow as an NRCS employee. During your first month, you must review these materials and become familiar with them.

The following Web-based training be completed through AgLearn when account is available. AgLearn is not available until the 3rd week of employment.

Complete the following training online when your AgLearn account is active.

  • Introduction to NRCS
  • Sexual Harassment Training
  • No Fear Act Training
  • Two Factor eAuthentication
  • Ethics Training Modules (below)

Employee Ethics

NRCS General Manual 110 – 405, Subpart C prescribes the required Ethics training for new employees and the supervisors responsibilities to complete this requirement. As a new employee, you are required to review and understand regulations and policies, and complete training modules, related to Employee Ethics.

General Manual 110-405 requires:



 

  • Conflicting Interests
  • Gifts from Outside Sources
  • Participation in Outside Organizations
    • Except that, employees transferring from other Federal agencies (Executive Branch) have the option to take Participation in Outside Organizations and two additional modules of their choice.
  • Training Module 21 New Employee Ethics Orientation (locally required)
