Attend June 17 meeting to explore funding opportunities through new USDA conservation partnership program in NJ

SOMERSET, June 10, 2014 - USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will host an information session on Tuesday June 17, at 1:00 p.m. to discuss opportunities for New Jersey through the new Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP). RCPP is a comprehensive and flexible program that uses partnerships to stretch and multiply conservation investments and reach conservation goals on a regional or watershed scale. New Jersey NRCS staff will present background information on the new RCPP program and open the floor for questions and discussion of possible projects in New Jersey. 

NRCS is offering three ways to participate. Follow links from the New Jersey NRCS website (www.nj.nrcs.usda.gov) homepage feature for details about how to participate:

  1. In person at the NRCS State Office, 220 Davidson Avenue, 4th Floor, Somerset, NJ 08873;
  2. Via hosted video teleconference at the Farm Service Agency office, 300 Clocktower Drive, Suite 202, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690 or;
  3. By joining an online webinar from your home or office.
